To succeed in today’s knowledge economy, Qatar`s youth need science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) skills. The Ministry of Education and Higher Education has strived to establish this unique school aiming to provide students with an education that will help them discover their passions and purpose in life, be inspired on daily basis to do their very best, be active and informed citizens, and develop the critical skills needed to build a sustainable future for Qatar. We are extremely proud of the work we have accomplished so far on this exciting journey to create the school. We look forward to the great contributions our school will make as we strive to prepare our students academically and socially to embrace the future. The ministry is grateful for the support we have received from education and community partners who have helped us make the school a reality. We are extremely pleased that the school has 8 specialized labs that dedicates space for access to advanced technology and helps empower students to engage in high-level problem solving that is critical for the 21st century. If we are to fulfill the objectives of the Qatar National Vision 2030, we believe that we must be vigilant on behalf of every student and provide them with a high-quality education that encourages them to be creative, to collaborate, to think outside of the box; and inspires them to take on important and rewarding STEM career paths. The Ministry of Education and Higher Education also aims, by adopting the STEM model, to transform classrooms from traditional classes into creative ones, taking the eight specialized laboratories and laboratories that the school contains as a place for it, so that activities are directed towards pushing students to explore, solve problems, and learn based on data analysis. , build possibilities, and monitor and solve challenges.

QSTSS is keeping pace with this change with our expanding state-of-the-art campus, evolving technology and provision of differentiated instruction that both supports and challenges each student based on their individual needs. Our well-trained and passionate educators have designed programs that teach through the processes of inquiry, discussion, decision-making, and reflection that will help the students to develop the 21st-century skills that enhance their competitive abilities locally and globally. Qatar Science & Technology Secondary School for Boys, is a governmental, specialized scientific school that adopts an integrated educational approach based on the teaching of science, technology, engineering and mathematics in an integrated manner. This trend is universally known as STEM Education.
